Islas Pinas by Margarita Fores is a food and heritage village dedicated to Filipino culture and cuisine. Located inside Double Dragon Plaza along EDSA extension in Pasay City, it's a massive food hall celebrating Filipino food and heritage.
Covering a floor area of 2,500 square meters, the food hall can accommodate 700 diners at a time. It has different themed sections highlighting various Philippine tourism destinations, traditions, architecture, and even typical street scenes. They even placed a real Sarao jeepney inside the space.
It's a beautifully built food hall and it's like exploring the whole country in one place. There's a replica of Calle Crisologo, street food stands, a balangay, and even a footbridge turned dining space.
It showcases various local regional cuisines and the menu changes every day.
There's also a boutique and a souvenir shop which is perfect for foreign tourists. The food hall is a perfect way to introduce the Philippines to Filipino food culture.
