Did you know that there is a pre-made effect in Adobe Premiere Pro that you can add to any clip to apply subtitles or captions to that clip?
You can add this very easily by going to the “Effects” window, search for “Simple Text” and then drag and drop that onto your clip.
Now you have subtitles that you can change in the “Effect Controls” window by going to “Simple Text” and click “Edit Text”.
Here you write your text, click “OK”.
Now cut the clip where you want the next text to start, select the part after the cut and click “Edit Text” again and keep doing this to add more text.
For 3 other ways to add text in Adobe Premiere Pro, check the link at the end of this video or the playlist with all my Premiere Pro tutorials.
Thanks for watching and have a nice day!
