Kissing gouramis (Helostoma temminckii) have rows of small teeth on their lips, and their kissing-like mouth-to-mouth behavior may represent a ritualized form of aggression, possibly for dominance and territory. In the wild, kissing gouramis are usually greenish-silver in color, but they have been selectively bred to exhibit pink.
