The Cookiecutter Shark 🍪
The cookiecutter shark's ventral surface is covered with photophores, rendering it nearly invisible in the light. The non-illuminating collar around its neck forms a shadow, attracting prey. When prey approaches, the cookiecutter shark bites off a piece of flesh, creating circular wounds. Their prey includes fish, sharks, whales, and even parts of submarines covered with soft rubber.
