Do you want to move multiple layers at once in Adobe After Effects instead of having to manually keyframe each layer?
Well, I have the perfect solution for you. Start by right-clicking in the timeline window, go to “New” and then click “Null Object”.
Now select all the layers you want to manage or move, then click one of the dropdown menus under “Parent and Link” and select the “Null Object”.
All the selected layers will now get that “Null Object” as their “parent”, but these children will now (compared to any regular family) actually follow all the instructions from their parent.
So if the “Null Object” now moves to the right, using keyframes in the “Position” property, all the layers with that “Null Object” as their parent will now follow and do the exact same thing.
