Please read the description first. Two schematics with the NE 5532 p Opamp, with which you can make an (a LF radio) oscillator. Much more oscillator links in the final lines of this textbox! Good to know... Also unconventional, say a Muvib sine wave on 7 MC or so.
I publish this circuit for “the achive”. It works quite nice, but there are much better circuits to make proper sine waves or square waves in the projected frequency band: 40 Hertz-20 KC. When it regards sine waves: the Wien Bridge oscillator is the key circuit in that regard. It is on my YT Channel and also on my LULU website, simple 2 trans. circuit that does that job between 20 Hertz and 19 KC.
Go to the LULU website for more info (payed content there, but on my YT Channel there is an abundance of free content, use the search keyword "sine" or "sine wave" or "sine wave oscillator).
These better circuits (schematics and video’s) are also on my YT Channel, by the way. You can find them via the search option on my Channel Trailer “Radiofun232 on Youtube”, by using search key words like “oscillator”, “square”, “square wave”, “generator”, “sine” or “sine wave”, etc.
By the way: when Google=YT has not destructed this search option, because of my critical comments about the covid jabs, the EU policy in Ukraïne, the suppression of basic human rights by the EU, etc. Google does that via shadow banning. Still actual today 12 oct. 2024 (it started at first on Jan. 2020).
This electronic circuit does not meet the named (40 Hz-20 KC) qualifications: it can only work between (say) 300 Hertz and (say) 9 KC. And regarding the waveforms (more info/demo in the video).
Thus & and another issue: only on the very low frequencies (say around 300 Hertz) it can/will work as a squarewave oscillator, BUT (important) when you use only that NE5532 p (without that square wave to sine wave filter) you could get to frequencies higher than 9 KC. Test, try, experiment. One of the aims of my YT Channel.
Thanks for watching.
My You Tube channel trailer is here: • Radiofun232 on YouTube. Updated month...
Type there the keywords that you like (e.g. radio/audio/amplifiers/test/filter/) in the “looking glass” = search function” and give “enter”. Via that you can find specific video’s (under the say 1500 published).
I am taking here about 2 "grounded emitter" circuits, that I have used in practice.
How they are used here and explained is in this video from a few days ago

Both circuits (the 1K - 220K circuit) and the classical GE circuit are used here and now (12 Oct 2024) in this oscillator /filter circuit.
When you search on my Channel trailer "Radiofun232 on YouTube", via the "looking glass option" (that is the search option) search always “NEWEST FIRST” to get the right overview.
You can search via the “looking glass” on my Channel trailer via keywords like ”audio”, “radio”, “amplifier”, “filter”, “Shortwave”, “transistor”, “FET”, “oscillator”, “generator”, “switch”, “schmitt trigger” etc; so the electronic subject you are interested in. I cannot name all the usable key words, try for yourself.
My books about electronics & analog radio technology are available via the website of "LULU”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there. https://www.lulu.com/search?adult_aud...
DIRECT LINK is here https://www.lulu.com/search?adult_aud...
I keep all my YT videos constant actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. Search there, and avoid my circuits that are republished, re-arranged, re-edited on other websites. I take distance from certain fake claims. Upload 12 October 2024.
NB: you can change the pulse-pauze ratio of the square wave a little bit by changing the value of the 1 K resistor between pin 3 and 4 of the NE Chip somewhat. Also by doing experiments with the second grounded emitter stage. Say by changing the value of the collector resistor (now & here 2 K).
