The Bob and Betty Beyster Building, named after four-time U-M alumnus, Dr. J. Robert Beyster, and his wife, Betty, features a stunning spiral staircase and open lounge areas on each floor. One of the most significant displays of the first electronic general-purpose computer (ENIAC) still remains inside the atrium of the building.

Here, students can learn and engage in research in areas like cyber security, artificial intelligence, and robotics. Some of the projects currently being worked on including finding machine learning techniques to identify ways to combat superbugs in hospitals and tailoring technology to help those with disabilities.
