How to Paint Mountains in Gouache (time-lapse)
In this time-lapse, I show how to paint mountains in gouache. I am studying Edgar Payne's oil painting "Kearsage Peaks". I originally did this as a demo for my digital mentorship students, explaining how to mix secondary colors and neutral grays from a primary colors palette!
Colors I'm using:
-permanent white
-lemon yellow
-yellow ochre
-cadmium red
-alizarin crimson
-cobalt blue
-ultramarine
All paints are Winsor and Newton Designer Gouache. I am using a 1" flat brush and size 12 Escoda Round brush.
