Enjoy my FULL workshop, "Tackling Complexity with Simplicity " that I hosted as a part of LightBox Expo 2021! In this video, I show how I tackle a complex image (to me) of a beautiful landscape inspired by the Öxarárfoss waterfall in Iceland (Photo Credit: Sean Brakefield, creator of the painting app Infinite Painter). I start by discussing the importance of building up and image with the foundations of design and value by using grids and matrix studies before jumping into the fun world of color!
Added bonus: I add the FINAL painting after that I finished up after the demo and briefly discuss how I got to this stage.
