The new spoken version of my tribute to Rammstein and the most amazing concert ever.
I've been meaning to do this for a while, and finally, I managed to wade through all my footage and (hopefully) make a video that isn't too long.
This whole adventure marked a huge milestone in my life. Around 10 years ago, my mental health took a huge dive, and I ended up battling with acute pychosis. It was easily the worst thing that has ever happened to me. If you'd told me then, that I would take a flight to Copenhagen to see Rammstein, well...I wouldn't have believed you!
Battling and totally recovering from acute pychosis changed me in so many ways and this year was when I decided to talk openly about my experiences - to try and give hope to others that a full recovery is absolutely possible (even thought it sometimes doesn't feel like it).
So... this trip was a huge deal. Not just for me, but also my daughter, who has also had her own mental health battles and come through them.
I will never forget the two of us almost bursting with excitement and screeching our heads off to all the songs, but especially Du riechst so gut. It was a completely perfect moment. Even getting lost more than once trying to get out of the park and then find the Metro station couldn't bring us down! 😅
Danke Rammstein 🖤❤️
