"Caravan" is a Soviet song about the war in Afghanistan (1986).
During the Afghan War, caravans of weapons and supplies for the Mujahideen came from Pakistan. One of the main tasks of the Soviet troops was to prevent such caravans from entering deep into Afghanistan. Such caravans were intercepted and often ambushed on the tip-off of informers.
