The title tells the horror story of late 2020 and early months of 2021. Can it get worse? Stay tuned. We are committed to "preserving and promoting the truth" among people, studying safeguarding measures, protecting the flock of Jesus Christ, and respecting law and order. Safety, truth, and honoring God's Word and commandments.

Of note, British law entitles churchwardens to physically "arrest and detain" any trespassers to Emmanuel Church, Morecambe. They are granted this authority to detain until police arrive and take over...churchwardens must maintain order in the church and churchyard, especially during divine service. They may arrest anyone disturbing a duly authorized preacher or priest celebrating any sacrament or divine service.

Psalm 12.

1 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

Collect in the time of War and Tumults

O Almighty God, King of all kings, and Governor of all things, whose power no creature is able to resist, to whom it belongeth justly to punish sinners, and to be merciful to them that truly repent; Save and deliver us, we humbly beseech thee, from the hands of our enemies; abate their pride, assuage their malice, and confound their devices; that we being armed with thy defense, may be reserved evermore from all perils, to glorify thee, who art the only giver of all victory, through the merits of thy Son Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
