Stronghold Crusader HD Extreme Trail M18 - Lionheart
Somewhat a troll mission at the start, because you're literally surrounded with missions and you're facing Richard lol.
Anyhow, archers are the best way to deal with lions. Don't rush here with knights or assassins as they can get mowed easily by mass lions. They have high attack power but poor defense (they're essentially a glass cannon unit). Don't even risk your lord fighting too many lions or you may lose the mission.
So buy a ton of archers early in game and clear your side. You will also see that the enemy's infinite camps are surrounded with lions. Just let it be and let them get overwhelmed while you build your economy. At some point, the lions will then move toward your base and attack you, so hopefully you have like 45 archers at least.
Build defensive towers facing your enemy and do the usual defense build up, and then from here its just about rock storming the enemy infinite camps while holding and defending your base. Once enough camps are gone, siege Richard's castle and kill him to win the mission.
