What do Red Bull do with a problem like Sergio Perez? An experienced and talented driver who brings huge financial backing is normally a dream for an F1 team but when you put anyone up against Max Verstappen, they are at risk of getting blown away. That is what has happened to Perez with his drivers championship leading teammate over doubling his points haul for the second season in a row. Yes there are mitigating factors such as car issues that Verstappen was masking through sheer talent but Perez has cost his team the constructors championship this season. The unavoidable media buzz around Checo’s future has gotten to the Mexican driver and he has finally admitted that his performances could cost him his seat.
