Why is my Tag not firing? GTM and complex Tag Deployment can be a headache sometimes. But with the help of GTM Debug Console, we can easily determine the issue. It helps us to dissect our Tags and it’s properties very detailed.
The two main components are the Event Timeline on the left side and the Features Menu on the top, which lets us combine Tags, Variables and the dataLayer with the Events that happen in the dataLayer. This way we can check our Tag configuration at the right event and make sure we have all the Values and Variables available to make the tag firing correctly.
