Today we're talking about how to get a scholarship in Canada as an International Student. There are many ways, but this is how I got my scholarship in Canada.
You can get scholarships in Canada by checking what scholarships your school offers for international students, seeing if you’re qualified, and applying for them.
From my experience, it was by submitting an essay on why you deserve the scholarship or asking your professors for referral letters.
Take note that there is usually a minimum cumulative grade requirement or GPA.
If you're studying at Centennial College, check the online student portal and go to the financial aid or scholarship section. From there, you should be able to see how you can apply for scholarships. It’s usually done by filling up a form. If you’re eligible, you should get an email one day prompting you to apply for a scholarship or financial aid.
My biggest tip on how you can get a scholarship in Canada as an International Student is to apply for everything that you’re eligible for. It could take you a long time to submit those essays, but if you get chosen, it’ll be worth it.
