How to design Ring in Shapr3D
In this video, I am going to be designing a relatively complex ring design in 3d using the Shapr3d app on my iPad pro with an apple pencil first generation. The design is of a ring, which got these curves going along both sides of the model along with some leaves-like structure, which could be a challenge to design on an iPad with just a pencil. I hope you find the tutorial useful in someway & pick something of help for your own workflow when going about designing jewellery in 3D using this app or any other software like Fusion360, Maya, Cinema4d or even Blender. Remember, the software is not the most important thing here, it the technique used to achieve a design. No doubt am supporting this app Shapr3D then its counterparts, but it's only because it gives me the power & precision of Fusion360 on my iPad, along with the mobility & freedom to design anything, anywhere, whenever I desire.
