How to model a kettle | Shapr3D Tutorial
In under 5 minutes, I will design a 3D model of a simple Kettle using my iPad pro with an apple pencil. The app I am going to use is called Shapr3D. It's my favorite piece of software which I have been using a lot lately to design my 3D models for 3D printing purposes. In this Shapr3D tutorial, I am going to use the most simple approach to design this kettle model. I start off with a simple sketch in the front view, I draw the main body profile along with the cap & the handle, etc. I mostly used the revolve & Sweep function to design this simple kettle. You can use the same, revolve & sweep technique in any other software like Fusion360, Maya, or even Cinema4d to create this model. The technique is the same, even if the software is different. Be it Shapr3d or Fusion360 or even Cinema4d, you can just have fun creating many other types of designs using the same technique.
