The colder weather and our limited technology and resources mean that the rising tide of ill begins to crest higher than our lone medical tent can handle. When the ill are left untreated for too long, they become the gravely ill. Then, they are but a few breaths away from death. Yet this need not drag us down. One does not have to deal with the gravely ill if there are no gravely ill. Sick Happens, plan accordingly.
