Exploring Colon Street Cebu City✨ Oldest Street In The Philippines 🇵🇭
Welcome to my Philippines travel vlog! Today, I'am going to explore Colon Street Cebu City, the oldest street in the Philippines!

Colon Street is the oldest and shortest national road in the Philippines. It is located in the downtown area of Cebu City and is known for its bustling commercial activity and historical landmarks.
Colon Street was built in 1565 by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, the Spanish conquistador who arrived in the Philippines to establish a colony. The street was originally named Calle Real, but it was later renamed Colon Street in honor of Christopher Columbus.
Colon Street quickly became the center of commerce and trade in Cebu City. It was home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and businesses. The street was also a popular gathering place for people from all walks of life, but it also had a bad reputation in the past. Muggings, bagsnatchers, and other violent crimes occur here often.
My first stop on Colon Street was Super Metro, a large department store that sells a variety of goods, including clothing, electronics, and groceries. Super Metro is a great place to find souvenirs, clothes, and other items at a good price.
Next, I visited 138 Wholesale Mall, a wholesale market that sells a wide variety of products, including dried goods, canned goods, and household items. 138 Wholesale Mall is a great place to stock up on supplies if you are staying in Cebu City for a while.
I then went to Colonnade Mall, a shopping mall that houses a variety of stores, including clothing stores, restaurants, and a movie theater. Colonnade Mall is a great place to spend an afternoon shopping and browsing.
My last stop before the Colon Night Market was Iconique, we went to the rooftop food corner that serves traditional Filipino cuisine and fast food options.
I ended my trip to Colon Street at the Colon Night Market, a popular tourist destination that sells a variety of food, drinks, and souvenirs. I had a great time exploring the Colon Night Market.
