So recently I've gotten into Enshrouded, the problem is I started the game in private mode and every time my friends wanted to log on without me, they couldn't.

A dedicated server solves this problem, as the world runs 24/7 and any player can join or leave at any point without relying on others.

With the Enshrouded questing system being tailored to asynchronous playthroughs I'd thought a dedicated server hosting would be a perfect solution for me and my friends. But for it to work you would need to leave your computer online 24/7 and mess with command prompts/port forwarding and firewall rules. I simply find using game server hosting from AMP saves me a lot of time even though the servers are paid. I just re-use these dedicated servers or any future games me and my friends want to play.
