On April 19, 2024, the festival "Muffled Voices" presented two chamber operas: "Russian Women" by Tatyana Chudova and "Cabildo" by Amy Mercy Beach at the Yaroslavl Palace of Culture named after Dobrynin.

This opera tells the story of how princesses Trubetskaya and Volkonskaya followed their husbands in exile to Siberia through the poems of N. Nekrasov, A. Pushkin, and the Decembrist poets.

This opera portrays the escape of the pirate Pierre Lafitte from a colonial prison in New Orleans. Amy Mercy Beach, the author, is a prominent figure in the Boston School of Composition of the early 20th century.

The festival "Muffled Voices" is the 1st International festival of contemporary chamber opera of women composers, dedicated to the memory and 80th anniversary of the composer Tatyana Chudova. The festival aims to honor women composers and highlight chamber opera as a genre capable of revealing the deepest aspects of the human soul. The event features the premieres of ten operas in different cities of Russia performed by leading soloists of the world music scene.
