L. "Tommie" Bass for 13 years, Darryl became a walking encyclopedia of herbal folklore. His easygoing teaching style and comprehensive knowledge have earned him recognition as a leading expert in medicinal plant identification and usage. Author of "Mountain Medicine, The Herbal Remedies of Tommie Bass," Darryl operates the Deep South Center for Herbal Studies, offering year-round learning experiences and one-on-one apprenticeships in North Alabama.
