About Derrick & Paige Jackson:
Grass Grazed is a pasture-based regenerative farm, focusing on soil health and sustainable farming practices. The farm raises pork, chicken and cattle. They strive to offer transparency, from farm to table, for their customers. Derrick previously served with the US Army, Special Operations, for 14 years. He and his wife Paige, launched Grass Grazed Farm in 2019 while stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. They are currently in their second year of farming and haven’t looked back. The Jackson family left a 14 year long career in the military to farm full time. Find out why and how they took the leap, what drew them to regenerative agriculture, and how with the right mindset, passion, and faith anyone can make a full time career out of farming.
