Fix Word Is Not Your Default Program Dialog Box in MS Word
To Fix or To stop appearing the Dialog Box that says Word Is Not Your Default Program for Viewing or Editing Documents when you open a Word document, try one of these two methods:
Method 1:
Open the Windows Settings – Apps – Default Apps – Word – and then set word as the default app for opening all the file types appear in that page. For details watch the video @ 00:12
Method 2:
In the word document click “File” – “Options” – “General” and then in the right-hand side, locate the option “Tell me if Microsoft Word isn’t the default program for viewing and editing documents” and remove checkmark ✅ from the box towards it. Then click “Ok”. That’s all!! Watch at at 01:36
