Is Collective Ownership & Decentralization the Key to AGI?
We need to put the power of artificial intelligence in the hands of the people - not a few elite.
Could collective ownership succeed in decentralizing power, preventing corrupt powers from holding too much singular control during the AGI era?
Could this be THE way to usher in a true, universal, free era of abundance and prosperity for all?
In this video, I'm going in a new direction: an answer I believe that we can dive super deeply into: a shift from private to collective ownership, which has the power to dismantle privatization and create a more equitable system.
This includes several routes:
Nationalization
Social ownership
Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs)
Universal Basic Income (UBI) attached to a "meaning economy"
Collective ownership can offer us a real path to achieve democratic, people-first, freedom-based decision-making in our AGI future.
Blockchain technology and decentralized governance models can also empower individuals and dismantle privatization.
