OpenAI has officially hit a new benchmark: Level 2, Reasoning, in AI. This is Step 2 in their five-step classification system to AGI (released internally to stakeholders this July 2024).
Sam Altman has been publicly referencing AGI and ASI on stage and in talks as he shared more about Level 2 Reasoners, and what this means for humanity.
