While posting pictures directly in TikTok comments isn't currently supported, there's a workaround that allows you to reply to comments with photos. Here's how you can do it:
1. *Join TikTok Beta Testing (Optional):*
While this method doesn't guarantee access to the feature, joining TikTok's beta testing program might give you early access if the feature returns.
On Android, go to [TikTok Beta Testing] and click "Become a Tester."
On iPhone, install the TestFlight app, complete the setup, and then go to [TikTok Beta Testing] and click "Start Testing."
2. *Reply to a Comment with a Photo:*
Tap on any comment on a TikTok video to reply.
While you can't directly comment with a picture, replying with a photo creates a new TikTok post for the photo.
3. *Select a Photo:*
Tap the video camera icon located on the left side of the comment field. This icon only appears when replying to an existing comment.
Choose "Photos" and select the photo you want to reply with.
4. *Customize Your Photo:*
TikTok will automatically add a sound to your photo. If you don't want it, tap the "X" next to the sound's name.
Use TikTok's regular editing features, including stickers and text, to customize your photo.
5. *Post Your Photo Comment:*
Tap "Next," add any captions or details to your post, and then tap "Post."
6. *View Your Photo Comment:*
Your photo comment will appear under the original comment, allowing others to see your picture in the comments.
Keep in mind that your new photo comment is also a post on your TikTok profile.
While this workaround isn't perfect and may create clutter on your profile, it's currently the only way to reply to comments with photos on TikTok. Keep an eye out for future updates that may introduce this feature officially.
