How To Insert Line Number In Google Docs document using Line numbers option under the Tools Menu is shown in this video. The Line numbers are very helpful if you are writing an article, research paper, etc, and what to send for proofreading.
Following the steps given below
1. Click inside the Google Docs
2. Go to Tools Menu
3. Click on the Line Numbers option, a menu on the right-hand side will appear
4. Select Show line Numbers
You can also select other options like continue through the document, restart on each page and restart on each section according to your need
