Welcome in this step by step Wordpress Tutorial.
In this video I am going to show you how you can add Meta Description in Wordpress
STEP 1:
Go to your Wordpress Website
Plugins / Add new
Yoast SEO / Install now / Activate
STEP 2:
Go to the post, page where you want to add a Meta Description
Scroll down to the YOAST SEO settings
Snippet Preview: Click on the Metadescription to edit
NOTE:
Adding a Meta description is calles (basic) ON PAGE SEO. So ALWAYS do that for your pages and posts. Also add Title tag, alt tags to images, ... (see my other videos)
