How to add alt ags to images in Wordpress Tutorial

Welcome in this step by step Wordpress Tutorial.

In this video I am going to show you how you can add Alt Tags to your Images in Wordpress

What are alt tags? Really simple, by giving alt tags to your images in your Wordpress website. Google knows then what your image is about. You can see it more or less like a description off the image. So best is to put in the keyword there ;)

STEP 1:

Login to your Wordpress website
Go to the page, post where you want to add an image
Add image in the page, post

STEP 2:

Click on the image
Now you can edit the ALT TEXT(tag)
Fill in (i always put a keyword there)

NOTE:

I advice that you do this for ALL your pics on your posts and pages! This is small work and it helps a little bit for SEO(on page seo)
