This 89-year-old grandma is a photo editing master.
Kimiko Nishimoto discovered photography when she turned 72. She loved it so much that she set up a studio in her home and started to experiment with editing techniques.
Kimiko edits self-portraits using her MacBook in creative and humorous styles. When Kimiko was younger, she owned her own hair salon and even raced bicycles. Her foray into photography was inspired by her son, a professional photographer and artist.
Today, Kimiko has over 3,000 followers on her Facebook page and has even held a personal exhibition.
Post-retirement lifestyle is a popular topic in Japan, where the population is aging rapidly. Kimiko may be in her golden years, but when it comes to discovering new passions, it's better late than never.
