Section of Route 283 closed in Lancaster County for deadly crash
The coroner was called to a crash that has closed the westbound lanes of part of Route 283 in Lancaster County, according to the County's 911 Dispatch.
The crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 on Route 283 near the exit for Route 741: East Petersburg/Millersville, officials said.
Route 283 westbound is closed between Exit: PA 722 - Landisville and Exit: PA 741 - East Petersburg/Millersville, according to 511PA. The eastbound lanes reopened around 4 a.m., but officials provided no estimate on when the westbound lanes may reopen.
