UPMC Memorial celebrates 5 years of new hospital | Health Smart
There was a special birthday party at UPMC Magee-Womens at UPMC Memorial Hospital.
Staff members celebrated the fifth birthday of the hospital's new campus on Innovation Drive in York County. And what better way to do so, than giving back to the people who keep them busy.
"I delivered all of my kids with UPMC, and I have six children; he's the sixth one," said mom Alyssa Walker.
Her son Armon was one of many babies who received the hospital's gift: a handmade newborn hat. It's a gesture organizers say brought smiles to both parents and staff.
