Did you ever look at a Nintendo game and say "wow, that game sure has nice water?" Here's how you can implement one of the tricks they use for yourself in GameMaker!
This trick works in both 2D and 3D; in a few weeks, I'll post another video detailing some more things you can do with water specifically in 3D.
