Once I made a game in GameMaker Studio,
It seemed quite easy and I thought it would be cool, yo!
I was making some good progress,
But there's still so much to do!
Though I drew some sprites the game still looked like rubbish
Thought my code runs it performs rather sluggish!
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming
I can hear them say...

For there's one that's free and open source

Since this engine's where I have my my expertise in
Jumping ship now might well constitute high treason!
And if I claim to be a GM fan, well
It surely means that I don't know
With all these engines and these frameworks to choose from
Unreal? Construct? Ren'py? Or even Clickteam Fusion?
I pick the ones I like to use
But I hear the voices say...
