"Lied Über Stalin" ("Song About Stalin") or "Cantata About Stalin", is a German rendition of the Soviet patriotic song regarding the fourth classic of Marxism-Leninism, leader of the Soviet Union and the then international communist movement, Iosef Stalin. The German translation from the original Russian version was done Erich Weinert and a new melody to make the German translation singable created by Franz Sabo.
