Cosmetic animal testing is banned in many parts of the world, including in Australia. But despite a 25 year ban in the UK, some animal testing has still been going on there. The news has upset many consumers, as well as animal rights groups. We look at the history of animal cosmetic testing, and how attitudes and practices have changed over time from big companies and their customers.
