It's the concert that's literally broken the internet on multiple occasions, Taylor Swifts Eras Tour, and it's quickly becoming the hottest ticket in town.
TAYLOR SWIFT
But there's something else going on that's causing a bit of Bad Blood that some people just can't Shake Off. It's ticket scalping which is the act of re-selling a ticket to make a profit. You see just hours after tickets went on sale yesterday some of them started to pop up on ticket resale sites. That's a problem because in most parts of Australia it's actually illegal to resell or advertise a ticket, that's more than 10% above the original cost. So consumer advocates are calling for new national laws to try to put an end to ticket scalping. They say the laws are needed to keep resale sites accountable and protect us from unfair pricing, as well as some of the other risks associated with buying second hand tickets.
ASHES WIN
The Aussies have taken out an 89-run Ashes Test victory over England. Ash Gardener was an absolute machine, she took 12 wickets during the match which is the best performance of all time by an Australian woman and the second best in women's cricket history. That was the only Test match they'll play in the series, and it's now onto 3 T20 and 3 One Day games - with just 2 more wins needed to take out the series.
EARLESS DRAGON
At a top secret location in Victorian grasslands, one of the country's most elusive animals has been found after 54 years. It's the Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon. The little guys were once commonly found in native grasslands just west of Melbourne, but over the years their numbers massively declined because of things like habitat loss and predators like feral cats. The last confirmed sighting of them was back in 1969 and there were fears they'd gone extinct, until now. To protect the habitat and the species, the location of the rediscovered population can't be revealed. But research is continuing around the top secret spot to try to find more. Sniffer dogs are even being trained up to help locate them and Zoos Victoria is setting up a breeding program to make sure these tiny reptiles have a big future.
BONDI WHALE
A rather curious humpback whale was spotted getting up close to a Kayaker at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Humpback whales are currently migrating from the Southern Ocean and someone was able to capture footage of one with their drone getting nice and close to a Kayaker.
STILT WALKERS
In recent years stilt walking has become an increasingly popular activity in Brazil and here in Rio locals have been taking part in stilt walking workshops, which includes games like racing with a lemon on a spoon.
WIFE CARRYING
Welcome to the competitive world of wife carrying where husbands carry their wives through a course filled with obstacles. The contest is part of the Midsummer festival in Canada and this year Eric and Anna took out the fastest time. But how's this for a scandal, they're not even married - they're just friends. Which according to the rule books is fine.
