At the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show, the new-generation BMW X3 long-wheelbase version was unveiled and will be officially launched in the first quarter of 2025. The new car's wheelbase has been increased by 110mm, and the wheelbase has been increased from 2865mm to 2975mm, which is on the same level as the domestic Mercedes-Benz GLC. In terms of appearance, the new BMW X3 long-wheelbase version continues the design of the overseas version and adopts the latest family-style design style. It is still equipped with BMW's iconic "double kidney" air intake grille. It has the same updated style as other BMW models. The grille panel is filled with vertical lines and diagonal lines to create the visual effect of geometric space, and is also equipped with a ring-shaped bright grille, which is more noticeable when illuminated and has a new energy vehicle style. .

Overall, the front face of the new car is more three-dimensional and thicker, looks more advanced, and has a strong new energy vehicle style. As for the current model, the front of the car is flatter and lower, with richer lines, which gives it a strong sense of movement.

There is also a plug-in hybrid version using the 2.0T engine and motor combination. The system will have a maximum power of 299 horsepower and a maximum torque of 450 N·m.
