The ID.UNYX launched by Volkswagen Anhui is the first smart electric coupe SUV with a price range of 209,900-249,900 yuan. A total of three models of the new car have been released, including the Pro long-range version, the Ultra long-range version and the Max high-performance version. I

The Volkswagen ID.UNYX offers two power versions: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The maximum power of the drive motor of the single-motor version is 170 kilowatts (about 231 horsepower); the total power of the dual-motor four-wheel drive version is 250 kilowatts (about 340 horsepower). According to official figures, the dual-motor four-wheel drive version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.

In terms of battery technology, the Volkswagen ID.UNYX is equipped with a triple lithium battery pack with a capacity of 82.4 kWh. The battery capacity has been improved compared with some previous Volkswagen models. Thanks to this improvement in battery technology and electric motor efficiency, the cruising range of the Volkswagen ID has reached 565 kilometers.

Since the response speed and starting torque of the electric motor are better than those of conventional fuel vehicles, starting and acceleration are very smooth, providing strong power performance. In actual driving, the power output is relatively direct, especially during the initial and intermediate acceleration, which can create an obvious sense of pushing.

It is reported that the designers carefully controlled the vehicle's wind noise, optimized the body shape and aerodynamic design to reduce wind resistance and wind noise while driving. The ID.UNYX effectively isolates this part of the road noise by using low-noise tires and an optimized suspension system.

The Volkswagen ID.UNYX and all Volkswagen series are equipped with front MacPherson and rear five-link independent suspension systems. The chassis setting inherits the consistent weight and rigidity of the Volkswagen brand ID family, and is supported by intelligent air suspension, CDC variable damping shock absorbers and road sensing functions to provide good conditions for the new car's driving stability and comfort.

The ID.UNYX is uniquely equipped with Volkswagen’s latest high-performance chassis system, including the DCC adaptive chassis adjustment system and the MEB dual-stage flexible vibration isolation system. These systems ensure the vehicle’s comfort in everyday driving and provide better ride quality when the vehicle is passing over potholes.

The unique steering support of the ID.UNYX is very precise and has a clear direction. In comfort mode, the steering support has a slight free space, making everyday driving easier and more comfortable for female car owners; in sport mode, the entire steering is more precise and has a wider upper travel limit. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a variable steering ratio system, which enables it to have a minimum turning radius of 4.7 m and makes driving more flexible. This has certain advantages over models with similar wheelbases and body dimensions. This feature is particularly practical on urban roads and can easily complete U-turns or cornering movements.

In terms of braking performance, ID.UNYX uses 19-inch disc brakes, dual-piston calipers and 358mm brake discs on the front wheels, and a drum brake system on the rear wheels. This braking system places more emphasis on the large-sized brake discs on the front wheels, providing strong braking force. The mechanical structure of the drum brakes has the inherent advantage of strong braking force. The curb weight is 2,166.
