Today I'm continuing to explore why grooming takes a long time and why it's so time-consuming. 💇♀️⏳
First episode here - • Discover the secret behind 3D groomin...
Let's break it down. First of all, Haircards are a big topic that I will definitely cover in one of the upcoming videos. 📽️
Today, I want to talk about regular Strands. In the hair creation process, they are formed from guides and, thanks to special particles, turn into realistic strands in the render or viewport. ✨🖥️
I finally found an example of one of my works saved from day one. This is how the hairstyle looked after the first day of work, and this is how the final version looks. See the difference? It's obvious. 💇♂️➡️💁♂️
Now let's break down the process day by day and see what exactly takes so much time and why it can't all be done in one day. 📅
Let's start with the fact that creating a hairstyle begins with separating the scalp. At the time I made this hairstyle, this was the only method. Of course, now there is an additional method that you already know — the Create Brush. 🖌️
But working with it isn't always convenient and takes some getting used to. Personally, I find it easier to edit guides and then make adjustments to the hair. So I first create a Furball on the scalp and form the hairstyle with guides. 🐱➡️💇♀️
So I comb those sticking-out hairs, do something with them, and then make adjustments on top. If we look at the finished hairstyle, in this case, we braid the hair into a bun and need to correctly build the guides. We'll talk about the nuances in the next episode. 🌟
