Security video captures deadly small plane crash less than a mile from airport
Tragic video caught on a Colonie business security camera shows the moments of a deadly plane crash just miles from the Albany International Airport.
On Monday, a privately owned twin engine piper Navajo plane based out of Canada departed the Albany airport at 8:15. It crashed shortly after along Maxwell Road in a small field in Colonie missing homes and businesses. A female pilot was the only person on board, she did not make it.
