Heated exchange leads to abrupt ending for Legislature committee's discussion on airport plan
Things got heated during an Albany County Legislature committee meeting leading to its abrupt end Wednesday night. The legislature’s Mass Transit Committee met to approve the Albany County Airport Authority’s five year, $283 million capital plan, but things came to a head when legislators wanted to ask the Airport Authority Board questions about its decision to cut ties with the airport’s current CEO Phil Calderone.
