This is the second installment of the free grids in Excel training. In this video, we learn about how to install the ExGrid control. We also dive into the differences between the Full Version versus the trial/demo version and how the different licensing options can help different people, depending on their specific needs.
We'll also walk through how to install the Demo/Trial version in order to follow along with the rest of this training.
Along the way, you'll learn more about ANSI versus UNICODE and what you need to decide before performing an install of ExGrid.
One final thing to consider if the bitness of Excel - or rather if your Excel (or your clients' Excel) will be 32-bit Excel, 64-bit Excel or if your end-user may use both on different computers.
