OC Transpo LRT Line 2 Replacement Bus Route, Route R2 (702) / Line 2 Bus - Video Ride
This is a video bus ride on Route R2 or Line 2 Bus (or known internally as "Route 702") between Bayview Station and South Keys in both directions, doing the full route.
This route is referred to as both Route R2 and Line 2 Bus.
Route number "R2" is to be used whenever there is an unplanned disruption whenever LRT Line 2 Trillium Line
Line 2 Bus, with the route number on the destination sign labelled as "Route 2", is to be used during the planned closure of Line 2 Trillium Line as part of Stage 2 LRT construction, where portions of the line will be double tracked, new stations being built, and the LRT line being extended beyond Greenboro Station to the Ottawa Airport and Riverside South. The Trillium Line was shut down on May 3, 2020 for approximately two (2) years. Essentially, Line 2 Bus is a parallel service to mitigate the suspension of LRT Line 2 Trillium Line.
The routing for both R2 and Line 2 Bus is exactly identical
This video will consist of the routing into Carleton University before AND after the opening of Raven Road Bus-Only Roadway.
