Using Blender to prepare our Mixamo character for retargeting in Unreal Engine 5, so we will be able to retarget root-motion and additive animations.

03:43 - Setup Rest Pose
18:20 - Setup root bone
19:30 - Remove 'end' bones
21:00 - Adding IK foot bones
24:58 - Add weapon_r bone
31:03 - Renaming bones
36:33 - Unpacking textures
38:30 - Exporting .fbx
39:45 - Import into Unreal
