It cost 3.98 billion dollars to build the new Mario M. Cuomo bridge that connects the NYS Thruway over the Hudson River between Rockland and Westchester Counties.

It’s said to have a 100 year life span -- but now just six years after the project was completed, we've discovered there are problems.

The Cuomo bridge is what’s called a cable stayed bridge, meaning cables come down from towers and connect to the bridge deck, and that’s where the concern is.
