The second night of Earls Court in 1997 is arguably the best night of the three. I think Liams voice settled well here. And while their completely off their tits, the band deliver a great gig, even if they are being attacked by laser pointers.

So what is this "alt" source? Well, it's a new source of this gig, and when compared to the one that's already on my channel, you can hear the differences. I'd actually give this version a slight edge over the the previous one, but I'll link it for comparison.

Why not label it as "new?" As it is a new source and a completely different taper, it's almost near identical to the previous (length and sound), and this version has technically been available for a couple years via a bootleg, so alternative source it is. You don't see multiple sources for Oasis gigs compared to other groups, but when they do pop up, it's nice to see and compare.

I've always found it interesting that Acquiesce was put at the end of the shows where they would take things up to an 11 or 12. Noels feedback intros, Liam shouting the lyrics the entire way through, smashing a mic or two in the process... Almost makes you wish they would've pulled some old tactics from The Who and smashed their equipment to bits every night, now THAT would be a closer.
