Alright so one of the many things that I learned from my Dad was that being a grown-up sometimes it just means doing things that you don’t really want to do.
One of the most important things I learned from my Dad is that talk is cheap and words are just words and it’s actions that define your character.
Here’s a good one for you. Never forget that no good deed goes unpunished.
Where’s my dog here? Where’d she go?
One other thing I learned that he’d probably tell you took a while to sink in was that if I’m not reliable, I’m nothing.
Another thing Dad used to say was “never back up any further than you have to.” He was talking about driving his car but the fact of the matter is that’s really good advice for, you know, most things in life. It’s useful to look back but you should try to avoid going back.
